4th of July weekend blog

Well I had 5 days off for the 4th of July weekend.  We had so much to do that weekend.  We baled hay Friday, went to pool party at one of my cousins on Saturday, went to in-laws on Sunday for grilling, swimming and jet skiing (except me I don't swim LOL).

Finally Monday horsey activities yeah!  Got up and got horses ready for the Milo, Ia parade.
I have a friend that lives outside of town and we parked their and a group of us all rode in together up the highway leading in to town.  Some of the folks driving in got to see our "mini parade" on their way to see the big parade LOL.

and these girls on their little horse were so cute!

Josie & Jake are on other side of me & and friend is in front of me :)

There is my friend Elisha in front on the black horse with her bright maroon hair LOL! It looks good on her though.

Then after we stopped at Caseys in town with the horses for some gatorades, we rode back to our trailers parked out by Elisha's. Loaded up and hauled home.  Nice day all in all but I did get sunburned lol  :) . Later that evening I went back to Milo to hang out with some friends and had some beers.

I still can't believe Milo has such a big parade. Thanks for letting MIL ride w/you. She had a blast.
